Description

Our proven ELL50 has been complemented by the new ELL50L. The ELL50L differs from the ELL50 by a larger cooling basket in order to be able to call up the full output of 30 watts even in unfavourable cooling conditions.

With a diameter of only 50 mm, the landing light is much more compact than its predecessor, the ELL80, but offers the same light output. With only 30 watts input power, the luminous efficacy is equivalent to that of a 90-watt halogen bulb. Completely encapsulated, the ELL50L is completely waterproof and can therefore be installed virtually anywhere on the aircraft, even on the wheel shoes. It is temperature-controlled and resistant to corrosion and UV.

The special feature of our ELL50L landing light, which is based on light-emitting diodes, is the integrated anti-collision light (ACL). With this technology, the light-emitting diodes of the landing light are also controlled as anti-collision light and is thus integrated into our "Intelligent Synchronisation" system. As a result, the ELL functions both as a normal landing light and as an anti-collision light in the direction of flight (i.e. forwards) and significantly increases the visibility of the aircraft in flight.

The ELL is pre-wired with 0.5 mm² highly flexible stranded wire for easy connection to a cable with at least 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section. The assembly instructions and the required heat shrink tubing are included.

The integration of our proven Intelligent Synchronisation, enables the staggered synchronisation of the current consumption of the individual anti-collision lights to prevent overloading of the battery/generator unit.
